Use the Power of 3-Way Calling

3-Way Calls - Please adjust your headset or speaker volume

 

The New Business Partners who find their businesses moving fastest
are always found to have made good use of 3-way calls!

  

This is one of the most powerful tools you have when taking interested Prospects through the information steps!

 

The scenarios are either:

  • You are on an initial call and your Prospect wants further in formation, so rather than attempting to do an amateurish , drawn-out mini presentation over the phone, you 3-way call them into a short information 'sizzle line'. The purpose of which is to arouse curiosity and sift those who are definitely not interested from those whose curiosity has been aroused.

  • Your Prospect has had some first step information. You have gone back to them and they’ve said, ‘Yes’ they’re interested in finding out more.

Suggest the next step would be for them to speak to your ‘experienced and successful business partner’.

 

So why do we use the 3-Way Call?……

 

So what does your ‘expert’ say on the 3-way call and how do you setup a 3-way call?

  

1.   You introduce your Business Partner as the person you are working closely with, and who is very experienced and successful in your business

2.   Your partner takes over and says hello

3.   Your partner then asks your Prospect some questions to find out a little bit about them, to establish rapport, and ask what they found interesting in the first-step information

4.   Your partner then tells your Prospect their view of the company and a bit about themselves in the business

5.   Your Prospect will be asked if they have any specific questions and will then be invited to the next information step. This will probably be to some form of presentation of the business.

 

It works so much better than you doing it yourself – because of the ‘Stranger being the Expert’.

 

When you are ready to be the ‘expert’ on the 3-way call yourself, we have some guidance notes you can refer to. You’ll learn a lot just by listening in to a number of three way calls, while your partner does the work!

 

Setting Up A 3-Way Call….

3-way calling is a standard calling feature to register in the UK call your customer support, where for a low monthly charge (usually around £1.50), you can register for 3-way calling for unlimited 3-way use. Otherwise, it can be as much as 50p a call

 

To do the 3-way call:

  1. Call the first person. Tell them you are putting them on hold while you contact the third party ...when you get the dial tone, then dial the full area code and number. On frequently used numbers, it's a good idea to have the whole number set up on a memory button, for convenience and to avoid misdialling.
  2. Press the RECALL button and wait for the dial tone.
  3. Now call the third party
  4. When you are through to the third party:

To connect all 3 people into the 3-way call

 

Press RECALL, wait for the dial tone and press ‘3’

To disconnect the 1st person from the call

 

Press RECALL, wait for the dial tone and press ‘5’

To disconnect the 2nd person from the call

 

Press RECALL, wait for the dial tone and press ‘7’

To end the call

 

Hang up

How to set up a 3-way calling invitation to a Sizzle Line:

We have set up a 3.5 minute Sizzle Message on which can also be accessed at www.prelaunchsite.com/recs/sizzle.mp3  and on a Telephone line at 0844-454-2033... this should prove useful as a brief introduction to 'pique interest' in our business.
 
Take the opportunity to 3-way call your prospects into the call... there is a 5 second delay, to allow you to connect... so it goes like this:
 
You: "Hi John, I'm a bit busy at the moment, but do you have 5 minutes clear?"
 
John: "Yep"
 
You: "Great John.. you know how I've been ('struggling to make ends meet with my own job/business' or 'doing really well, but never seem to have any time') well  the purpose of my call is, that I've come across an interesting business which is just launching in Europe and where there's an opportunity to make some serious money, part time. If I sent you an email with a link to some information on a website would you spend 30 minutes exploring how it might work for you?"
 
John: "Yep.. but what is it?"
 
You: "Hold on a minute and I'll patch you through to a brief overview, then you can tell me whether it's something you want to explore further or not!"
 
Press Recall to get dial tone.
 
Dial 0844-454-2033 and when it connects
 
Immediately Press Recall 3 to bring John into the call
 
You: "You there John?"
 
Listen to the call then immediately Press Recall 7 to exit the 2nd call and go back to John

Now you ask: "I don't have time now, but does this seem like something you should like to explore further or not?"

 
John "Yes"
 
Then....
  • Preferably, send them first to www.prelaunchsite.com then
  • Schedule a 3-way call with me
  • Always obtain John's email address

IMPORTANT

If you get an answer phone, when on a 3-way call, then always press Recall 7, to exit the second call, or the rest of your conversation with the original caller will be recorded on the 2nd callers voice mail… It could be embarrassing!
